Open IT Online Lite 1.1 is out! |

We are happy to announce that we just released a new version of Open IT Online Lite for our Internet Explorer users.
In Open IT Online Lite 1.1 we have added two important online services that were already available in Open IT Online for Firefox and that are much appreciated by our Firefox users: these are View Docs Online to view documents and Sumo Paint to edit images online.

In addition to this, we have changed the way the popup dialog is displayed: in Open IT Online 1.0 the popup was not displaying well in some pages; now the popup is a separate popup window that does not conflict with the page you are visiting.

Sumo Paint joins Open IT Online |

In Open IT Online 2.7 we have added a great online image editor, Sumo Paint.
Sumo Paint is a free image editing software that gives you the opportunity to create, edit and share images online. Sumo Paint is one of the easiest, fastest and creative paint application online. It can be used from any operating system and browser that supports Flash.

Save files online with Open IT Online 2.5 |

With Open IT Online 2.5, Firefox users have now the possibility to save online many types of files: this is thanks to the inclusion of the well known Box.net service. To save a file in Box.net you need a free Box.net account. Here is how the 'Open With' dialog looks like: Please note that you can disable the option "Save IT Online" in the Open IT Online option dialog.

In Open IT Online 2.5 we also had to remove ThinkFree Viewer service, due to the fact that ThinkFree discontinued their java applet document viewer. 
At the same time, we have added a brand new service called View Docs Online that allows to view all the documents supported by Open IT Online in a quick way. We suggest you give it a try! We also added the possibility to remove the Open IT Online icon from the status bar. |
